EDDIE VAN HALEN - The Wild Life (1984) Unreleased Movie Score & Extras

EDDIE VAN HALEN - The Wild Life (1984) Unreleased Movie Score & Extras
Requested in "REQUEST & FILL CORNER" section...

In the middle of the furor for his new 'toys' (read synthesizers), EDDIE VAN HALEN agreed to compose and perform the score for the 1984 comedy movie "The Wild Life".
The Music From The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LP was released including various songs heard in the film (including tracks by Van Stephenson, Charlie Sexton, etc) and the main theme composed and played by EVH titled 'Donut City'.
The rest of the material, of course, remains unreleased.

Fast forward a couple of decades and thanks to modern digital technology, many of the incidental music from the movie can be separated from DVD or Blu-ray.
Almost the complete "The Wild Life" score performed by Eddie Van Halen is featured here, including the much sought after 'End Titles Song' (also known as 'Back To School') with a very good sound.

I totally agree and share your excitement with you, Michael Henderson! This wonderful miracle bag full of not that widely spreaded content plus charming extra goodies which Camelblue has conjured up here definitely belongs to something wondrously that die-hard (Eddie) Van Halen enthusiasts dream about in their wildest nights. So I thank you for your request, Mr. Henderson, because otherwise I wouldn't have known what I had missed with this special bonbon for sure. Just imagine the powerful evergreen Jump as it vibrantly stimulates my inner ear whilst letting me jump for joy at the same time, and you'll get the idea of how I'm feeling right now about this fine feature!

Bye for now,
Thomas

Awesome! Thank you Rudio! The "Ripley" track is outstanding! The cleaned-up "End Titles [Back To School]" also!

So the upper two tracks are basically working demos for Panama and Jump :) Now it's clear for me why this OST wasn't released. BTW thank you!

That's fantastic, dude!
EVH is the greatest guitar player in the world on my opinion.
Thanks for sharing!
