I would love to get the song "Fallen in Love " by Climax Blues Band. It's from their Real to Reel album which has never been released on CD and they haven't included this on any of their greatest hits packages(although it soooo belongs).

Well, the Matthew Ward album got a 9,2 rating on Heaven's Metal and a very positive review somewhere else, so being a fan of his 'Fortress' cd i thought it might be worth a casual listen at least.

Ha guys, what do you think is the best and most reliable form of storing cd or mp3 collections.
ReplyDeletei had a h/d blow up with 30thous albums on it and i'm paranoid now.
i just purchased a 1000 CD storage flight case, i dont know whether to burn every album to CD/R audio and lose the ID tags(window media doesnt recognize the disc)
or to CD/R mp3 format the latter is better for storage space, but so is mp3's on dvd/r, where do you stop.
How do you guys live with your priceless collections that take years to compile and countless hours and enegy and still sleep at night?
i know this will open a can of worms.
everybodys different but you guys, i know you guys will know and understand my concern.

Store my collection thre as mp3´c complete with tags..
Use an extra 1TB as a backup.
Doing my own backups once a month..
Price today on a 1TB drive (less than 90 EURO)...
Chance/risk of two seperate drives crashing simontanesly must be zero..
(Neither of them is used as the boot drive..these 1TB disks are just for the storage.)

In the 80's (what I am interested) she only has recorded with the Grey Star band.
The only 80's recording under the 'Ruby Star' moniker is the song posted, only released in 'Various - QFM Hometown Music Project 3', a very rare promo vinyl LP.
If anyone got more or I am incorrect, drop some info here...

regardless of the origin of these tracks i think that they are fantastic
and are on par if not better than those on the released album.

I'm looking for a proper vinyl rip of the classic AOR album "Agent", which was released on Virgin Rec. in 86.
ReplyDeleteNote: I have the cd reissue of Escape (96) but that was a recording with a different singer (Troy Reid).
Have been deperately searching for the very first version of "Agent" with Rick Livingston on vocals.
If any of you guys have anything by the Brit AOR band 'Seven' I'd love to get a copy. I recall a single called 'Inside Love' which I had as vinyl 12" back in about 1989/1990... I also had a cassette single of them doing a John Parr cover version...I thin k it was Man With A Vision..
